Kathmandu, June 10: One more Nepali serving in the Russian army has died. According to activist Kritu Bhandari, Sandesh Thapa of Lamjung, who joined the Russian army last October, died.
She informed that Thapa died on Tuesday, Jestha 22, 2081 BS.
Bhandari also said that the 21-year-old Thapa has repeatedly requested the Nepal government to return him to Nepal since a few days ago.
He died because the Nepalese government could not rescue him in time. Along with him, 44 Nepali citizens have so far died in the Russian army who were mobilized in Russia-Ukraine frontline of war.
