Kathmandu, March 19: The country is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly and local winds, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
At present, the weather remains partly cloudy in the hilly regions, while the rest of the country enjoys fair conditions. The department has forecast that the hilly areas of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces will see partly to generally cloudy skies, whereas the remaining regions will remain partly cloudy.
There is a likelihood of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two locations in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Additionally, light snowfall may occur in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions.
Tonight, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
In the next 24 hours, light rain with thunder and lightning is likely at one or two places in the hilly regions of these provinces. Light snowfall may also be observed at one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas. #weather #nepal
