Kathmandu, Nov 22: The Supreme Court is set to re-hear the case related to salary adjustment of civil servants.
The full bench of Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, Justices Kumar Chudal and Nityanand Pandey granted permission for review on the matter today.
Joint Attorney Govinda Khanal had sought permission for a review on the matter.
The order for review points out to address questions about the number of public servants to remain while adjusting the salary, the cost it will be required, the revenue situation and how much additional expenditure will the state incur in the case of salary adjustment.
The permission for review of the previous decision taken by the apex court in late June earlier this year has been granted pursuant to clause (b) 2 of section 11 of the Administration of Justice Act, 2073 BS.
