Kathmandu, Feb 16: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN (UML) Chairman, KP Sharma Oli, have held a meeting.
During the meeting held at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar on Thursday, they discussed the contemporary political issues including making government’s performance more effective, according to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
Both the leaders have intensified their meetings as Presidential election is nearing up. The decision to pick independent person for the President has created suspicion to the CPN UML. The Prime Minister Dahal’s party, CPN Maoist Centre, has decided to pick independent candidate rather from CPN UML.
According to sources, CPN UML and Prime Minister Dahal have agreed to support UML candidate for the future President.
