PM Dahal hails Manav Sewa Ashram’s campaign

Kathmandu, Oct 14: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has hailed the Mechi-Mahakali campaign being launched by the Manav Sewa Ashram, a charity organization, to rescue the helpless people from across the country.

Bidding farewell to those involved in the nationwide campaign of rescuing helpless people amidst a programme at his residence, Baluwatar, on Friday, PM Dahal viewed he was happy to hear such a pious work of the organization with the festivals round the corner.

The helpless people begging on streets would be provided succor and shelter by the Manav Sewa Ashram.

Service to the destitute people is an altruistic job, he said, adding that it is more important than politics. PM Dahal vowed government support for such benevolent work.

“The activities of the Manav Sewa Ashram have proved that there were many people devoted to service and rescue of the needy people in Nepal,” he said and extended best wishes to the team embarking on Mechi-Mahakali campaign.

Also extending best wishes to the team was Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha.

In the programme, noted artists Madan Krishna Shrestha and Haribansa Acharya (Maha) viewed the works of charity organization, Manav Sewa Ashram, was unrivaled in human service.

The campaign beginning from the Mechi Bridge in the east would continue for 38 days.
