Kathmandu, Aug 23: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has congratulated India on the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the surface of the moon. In a tweet today, he congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all the scientists of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) for the notable feat.
Prime Minister Dahal has said that the successful landing of Chandrayaan is a historic achievement in science and space technology. He mentioned that with this success of India, the human race has achieved another important achievement in space exploration, research and new possibilities.
Stating that this success will serve as a great inspiration to scientists and researchers around the world, Dahal has congratulated his counterpart Modi, the Government of India and the people of India on behalf of the Government of Nepal and the people of Nepal for unleashing of a historic achievement in science and space technology.

Likewise, former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and KP Sharma Oli congratulated India and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on being successful to soft-land Chandrayaan on the surface of the moon.
In his tweet, Deuba has said, “Congratulations to Prime Minister @narendramodi and the people of India for the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon. This is a remarkable progress made by India in space sector. We admire the outstanding work of the scientists of ISRO.”
Likewise, KP Sharma Oli twitted: “India’s Chandrayaan-3 landed on the South Pole of the Moon today. Congratulations to Indian Prime Minister @PMOIndia Shri Narendra Modiji, scientists and all Indians for the success of this mission! Eastern knowledge has achieved significant success in the field of science, we are also happy.”
Minister of Foreign Affairs NP Saud also sent a congratulatory message, and said, “Heartiest congratulations to India for successful soft-landing of Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the moon! This is not only a moment of national pride for our Indian friends but also an important milestone in the advancement of space science and technology, which ultimately contributes to making our lives better.”
Meanwhile, President of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane also twitted and congratulated India. He has said, “Congratulations to India on this remarkable achievement in space exploration! This milestone under the impeccable leadership of honourable Shree Narendra Modi ji @narendramodi as well as team @isro not only deepens our understanding of the universe but also serves as an inspiring example for countries like Nepal. We look forward to Nepal becoming a strong ally in this journey of discovery, advancement, and accomplishment in the days to come.”
