Kathmandu, March 11: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is scheduled to take vote of confidence in the House of Representatives meeting on March 13.
The Prime Minister’s secretariat on Sunday sent a letter to the federal parliament requesting for the necessary arrangement to this regard.
After Prachanda formed alliance with CPN UML, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), CPN (Unified Socialist), Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), the government had to face no confidence vote. It looks like that Mr Prachanda will get vote of confidence.
Prachanda so far has a confidence of nearly 145 parliamentarians in a 275 seat House of Representatives. Now, CPN UML has 78 seats, CPN Maoist Centre has 32, RSP 21, JSP 12, CPN (U S) has 10 seats. Prachanda is trying to invite more parties to join in the new alliance. #Nepal #Prachanda
