PM Oli lays foundation stone for UML Central Office in Kirtipur

Kathmandu, Oct 11: Prime Minister and Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML), KP Sharma Oli, officially laid the foundation stone for the UML Central Office Building today in Maitrinagar, Kirtipur Municipality-2.

During the ceremony, UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel informed that the new office will be built on a generous donation of 10 ropani and 14 annas of land from Chairman of Bhatbhateni Super Store, Mr Min Bahadur Gurung and Mrs Sabitri Gurung, director of Bhatbhateni. He further said that plans regarding the building’s cost and design are currently in progress.

The decision to construct a new office comes after the Tulsilal Smriti Pratishtan in Chyasal, Lalitpur, was damaged by recent floodings, prompting the need for a new facility.

In response to a journalist’s inquiry, Gurung expressed his commitment to supporting various political parties but highlighted his close ties with UML, viewing this project as an opportunity to assist the party.

He assured that the new building is expected to be completed and handed over within a year. #CPNUML #bhatbhateni
