Jhapa, Feb 24: The Maoist Terai-Madhes Awakening Campaign officially has kicked off today from Kachankawal, Jhapa.
The CPN (Maoist Centre) has launched the campaign to raise awareness among the people, with party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ leading the initiative. Accompanying him are Vice General Secretaries Janardan Sharma and Barshaman Pun, along with other central leaders who have already arrived in Jhapa.
According to the Maoist Centre, the campaign aims to counter the threat of regression while ensuring constitutional protection, good governance, social justice, and prosperity. The nearly one-month long campaign is also intended to lay the foundation for a socialist revolution.
After the fall of Prachanda-led government, Maoist Centre has extended party activities throughout the country. Prachanda himself has attended hundreds of party programs in different districts, municipalities and villages. In these meetings, he has severely criticised the present government and alleged that KP Oli government has failed to deliver and maintain good governance. #nepal #maoistCentre #prachanda
