DHANGADHI: Chairman of the NCP (Oli Group) and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has requested to punish the corrupt, traitors and elements working at the behest of foreigners from the villages in the upcoming parliamentary election.
Addressing the Far-Western level public meeting in Dhangadhi on Friday, Chairman Oli urged the people not to vote for such elements in the election.
Mocking the CPN (Prachanda-Madhav) group, he said, “You don’t have to do anything. It is enough if you don’t vote these people.”
Stating that the dissolved House of Representatives will not be re-instated under any circumstances, including constitution, international practice, norms, Chairman Oli said, “Now the new House of Representatives will come only through elections.”
Prime Minister Oli claimed that he had no choice but to go for a fresh mandate when the parliament could not function and that the dissolution of the parliament was justified as he was the unanimous leader of 64 percent.
Stating that the rumors that KP Oli will not hold the election are baseless, Prime Minister Oli said, “I am saying again and again that the election will be held on the stipulated time. The Election Commission is already preparing for the election. ”
He assured the supporters and cadres to be confident that the election would be held and requested them to start preparations for the election. He said, “You have to punish the bad elements in this election from the bottom up. They have gone upstairs to harass and hurt you.”
Stating that he was very saddened by the activities of the Prachanda-Madhav group, Prime Minister Oli said in sarcastic words, “You may have heard the words of the fugitives, you should not listen to their words.” They have run away without coming to the Central Committee, they are sitting on the street saying that ‘we are here’.
Referring to the last time he faced the blockade of India, Prime Minister Oli expressed his gratitude for the stand and support of the Nepali people against the blockade.
He said, “Right now we are opening new border points with China. New checkpoints including Kimathanka are opening. We have published maps incorporating Limpiyadhura, Lipulek and Kalapani. We have amended the constitution as well. But Prachanda-Madhav group has objected it.”
