Kathmandu, April 27: Nepal won the match against West Indies ‘A’ thanks to Captain Rohit Kumar Poudel’s century.
In the first match of the T20 series held at TU Cricket Stadium in Kritipur today, Nepal defeated West Indies ‘A’ by four wickets.
Nepal emerged victorious after meeting the target of 205 runs in 19.4 overs by losing six wickets.
For Nepal’s victory, Captain Poudel contributed the highest 112 runs with 10 fours and six sixes in 54 balls.
Likewise, Dipendra Singh Airee made 24 runs, Kushal Bhurtel 16 and Gulshan Kumar Jha nine.
Nepal will play the second match against West Indies ‘A’ on Sunday.
