Kathmandu, March 13: Leaders of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and the Nepali Congress (NC) have expressed sorrow over the demise of Mohan Prasad Oli, father of CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli.
Taking to social media (Facebook), leaders from both parties extended their condolences.
Rabi Lamichhane, Chairperson of the RSP, wrote, “I pay heartfelt tribute to the deceased and wish strength in the bereaved family members to remain calm at such grief.”
Similarly, NC President Gagan Kumar Thapa expressed grief over the passing of Mohan Prasad Oli. Oli passed away at Madhyapur Thimi-based Nepal Korea Friendship Municipal Hospital on Friday morning. He was 97.
In the condolence message, President Thapa mentioned, “On behalf of the NC and myself, I express deep condolence to CPN (UML) Chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and the bereaved families and pray for the eternal peace to the departed soul.” #nepal #rss
