Kathmandu, Oct 18: The match between Nepal and Bhutan in the ongoing South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women’s Football Championship ended in a goalless draw.
At Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar, Nepal and Bhutan shared the points after playing a match that concluded without any goals. This is the first time in SAFF Championship history that Nepal has ended a match against Bhutan in a goalless draw.
Despite controlling the ball for most of the match, Nepal was unable to score. Nepal missed several chances of scoring in the match.
In the first match of Group B held today, Sri Lanka defeated the Maldives 1-0. With this result, Sri Lanka is at the top of Group B with three points, while Nepal and Bhutan are in second place with one point each. #saff #football
