Kathmandu, March 7: The renowned expedition management company, Seven Summit Treks, has announced that Dawa Phinjo Lama Bhote will lead the upcoming Mt Everest and Mt Lobuche expedition.
Mr Dawa is one of the most experienced and respected mountain guides in the climbing community.
Dawa is a certified IFMGA Guide and Mountain Rescuer, Helicopter Long Line Specialist, and Instructor, trained in Air Zermatt Switzerland. He has been involved in many life-saving rescue operations in and out of Nepal.
Dawa has over 17 years of experience with the successful summit of Mt. Everest 8 times, as well as Manaslu, Makalu, Amadablam, Baruntse, Denali in North America, some peaks in the European Alps, and other peaks in the Himalayas. He is also an International Mountain Guide Course Instructor.
