Baglung, Dec 30: Shreedharacharya Saligram Museum located in Baglung Municipality-4 Kudunle has become a must-visit destination in recent days.
According to museum authority, the number of visitors have increased here. Nearly one and a half lakh Shaligram have been kept there for public view.
Inside the museum, the shape of Kaligandaki’s head from Damodarkund to Trivenidham is made in one place. It has attracted many people. Even more, the temples built around Shaalagram and the many types of figures made it more attractive.
The museum is about three kilometers west of Baglung bazaar, which is a little above the Baglung-Beni road section. It can be reached by walking in 15 minutes and by car in five minutes.
According to the Chairman of the museum, Rhishi Prapannacharya, the museum has kept Shalagram found in other parts of the country, including the Shalagram found in the Kaligandaki (Krishnagandaki) river that flows from Muktinath in Mustang to Myagdi, Baglung.
