Simrik Air pilot removed from active duty



Kathmandu, April 30: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the regulatory body of Nepal’s civil aviation, has removed a Simrik Air pilot from active duty.

According to CAAN, the pilot violated the safety rules after an unauthorized crossing of Runway 02 at Tribhuvan Int’l Airport today.

Safety is our top priority, and we urge all personnel to remain vigilant and follow established protocols to ensure safety of all operations, the CAAN has said.
