Jumla, Jan 27: Students from various districts have arrived in Jumla to study medicine at the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences (KAHS). One hundred and four students from different districts have come to study MBBS, BNS, BPH, B-Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, and other medical education subjects.

The Karnali region, which once suffered premature deaths due to a lack of doctors, has now become a hub for producing skilled medical professionals.

The institution has demonstrated excellent performance in the field of education, achieving a 100% pass rate in various licensing examinations by the Nepal Medical Council (NMC). It is reported that there has been an increase in the number of people leaving accessible areas to come to the institution to study medicine.
