NRB reduces gold import quota, fixes 10 kg per day

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), Nepal's Central Bank, has reduced import quota of gold. The importers can now import only 10 kg of gold daily. Issuing a press note today, NRB made the arrangement effective from Sunday. The NRB has issued the directive citing pressure on foreign exchange reserves.
