
Kathmandu, April 30 : Talks between the government and protesting Nepal Teachers’ Federation will continue today.
Both the government and disgruntled teachers are deliberating on the demands of the protesting teachers. According to reports, there was the possibility of finalization of demands by Wednesday evening and teachers will stop their protests.
The talks between the two held on Monday and Tuesday had ended on a positive note, it was shared. Public school teachers have been taking to streets in Kathmandu since April 2 this year, demanding better pay and perks.
One of their prominent demands include immediate promulgation of the School Education Act which would address their concerns.
