Teacher, accountant died in a motorbike accident in Chitwan

Bharatpur, Dec 10: Two person of a school died when a Bolero Jeep hit a motorcycle in Chitwan’s Madi, Nepal, last night.

On Saturday evening, on the bridge of Chitai Khola in Madi Municipality-1 Baruwa, a Balero Jeep LU2CH 2508 hit a motorcycle with Bagmati Province No. 06001P 4093.

The driver of the motorcycle, Surya Adhikari, Accountant of Someshwar Secondary School, and Beg Bahadur Khatri, the teacher riding behind the motorcycle, died. Another teacher Bhawani Prasad Poudel has been injured.

All three were working at Someshwar Secondary School in Madi. Khatri, who was seriously injured in the collision, died during treatment at Bagouda Hospital, while the Adhikari died during treatment at Bharatpur Hospital this morning.

The deceased Poudel is the resident of Madi Municipality-1, Chitwan and Khatri is a resident of Sinta Rural Municipality-3 Agrigaon of Surkhet. Poudel, who was injured in the accident, is being treated at the Old Medical College in Bharatpur.

Deepak Rijal, Chief of Madi Area Police Office informed that his condition is out of danger. Police have taken Bolero driver into custody.
