Teenager dies drowning in Tinau River



Butwal, May 26: One person died after drowning in the Tinau River in Tilottama Municipality- 6 of Rupandehi on Saturday.

According to District Police Office Butwal, a 17-year-old local Dibyams Bhusal, who had gone to swim in the river, died in course of swimming.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Manohar Bhatt informed that the boy, who had gone to play football with his friends, and after the match he had gone to swim in the nearby river.

Two youths drown to death in Tadikhola Nuwakot

Meanwhile, two people died after drowning in Tadikhola (rivulet) in Nuwakot. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Tilak Bharati 19-year-old Rojan Tamang of Belkotgarhi-13 and 18-year-old Himal Tamang of Kakani Rural Municipality-4 drowned while swimming in Tadikhola in Belkotgadhi municipality-10 in the district.

It is shared that the unconscious youths were rushed to Trishuli Hospital for treatment but the doctor declared them dead.

Among the six youths who had gone for swimming in Tadikhola, the two were swept away from the place where they were supposed to turn. #nepal #rss #drown
