Dhanushadham, April 22: Three children have died and their mother is in critical condition following a poisoning incident in Dhanusha district.
The deceased are 6-year-old Aditya Sah, 4-year-old Aakriti, and 2-year-old Aarushi — children of Sushil Sah from Ward No. 5 of Shahidnagar Municipality, Yadukoha, Dhanusha.
According to the police, Sushil’s wife, 30-year-old Pabita Sah, is in critical condition and is currently receiving treatment on a ventilator at the Provincial Hospital in Janakpur.
On Monday evening, around 6:45 PM, the mother and children were found at home after allegedly consuming poison.
Locals immediately rushed them to the Provincial Hospital in Janakpur for treatment, but doctors confirmed that the three children had already died upon arrival.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident. Preliminary suspicions suggest that Pabita may have poisoned her three children due to a domestic dispute and then attempted to take her own life. #poison #nepal
