Bagmati, Dec 16: Three people were killed and 19 others injured in a road accident that took place in Andheri of Bakaiya Rural Municipality-7, Makawanpur.
The deceased have been identified as Keshav Majhi, 55, Yubaraj Majhi, 55, and Shantalal Majhi, 45, residents of the same locality.
The accident took place earlier this afternoon involving a tractor (Lu.5 Ta. 147), shared Deputy Superintendent of Police Pushkar Bogati, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Makawanpur.
A total of 22 travelling in the tractor were injured in the accident and of them three succumbed to their injuries during treatment at a hospital in Hetauda.
The cause of the accident is not yet known and further investigation is underway, Spokesperson Bogati said. #nepal #rss
