Tourism Minister requests India for extra air route

Kathmandu: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kiranti, has requested India to provide additional aviation routes to Nepal.

Talking to Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Shreevastav, at his ministry in Singha Durbar on Friday, Minister Kiranti made aware the Ambassador that the only air route in Nepal at Siraha became busy, so additional flight route to enter Nepal was requested, according to Minister’s secretariat.

In response, the Indian Ambassador Shreevastav said India was always positive to the welfare of Nepal and its people.

Nepal has been requesting India for additional air route eg from Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Mahendrnagar in the wake only air route via Simara which got much air traffic in recent time.
