The local residents have expressed their pleasure after the Buddha Airport started the flights.

Station Manager of Buddha Air at Tumlingtar Airport Ram Luintel said that the company’s 72-seater started flight after the increased number of passengers. Prior to this, the passengers had limited access to plane tickets due to higher number of travelers traveling to Mt Makalu.

The Aurn III Hydropower Project and arrival of tourists contributed to higher demand for ticket.
