Kathmandu, April 28: Bajura has experienced two earthquakes in the middle of the Friday night.
An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred at Thursday 11:58 pm and an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred at Friday 1:30 pm, informed Rajesh Sharma, technical assistant of Earthquake Measurement Center Surkhet.
According to him, the epicenter of both earthquakes was at Dahkot in Bajura.
After the earthquake struck in the middle of the night, people came out of their houses in fear. The shock of the earthquake was felt in the surrounding districts along with Bajura.
It has not been possible to determine whether the earthquake caused damage or not. District Police Office Bajura said that the work of collecting information is continuing.
