RAMPUR: Two people have been killed in a bus accident in Palpa district. Two persons were seriously injured when a bus (Ga 1 Kha 4902) met with an accident at Rainadevi Chhahra-6, Juthapauwa on Friday evening.
According to local police, the bus skidded off the road and plunged nearly 400 meters down.
The deceased have been identified as Rainadevi Chhahra-6, Bed Bahadur GC, 42, of Dharapani and Ashok Raskoti, 10. They died Friday night while undergoing treatment at local hospital.
Rohit Gharti, 7, Milan Bagale, 8, Roman Gharti, 8, and Khim Bahadur Gharti, 9 were seriously injured in the accident.
The injured are being treated at Lumbini Medical College, Prabhas, Palpa, said District Police Office, Palpa.
