Kathmandu, July 23: Two people have died and five were injured in 47 disaster incidents that occurred in various parts of the country on Wednesday.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), there were five snakebite cases, five fire incidents, one flood, sixteen landslides, fourteen road blockages, one livestock loss, and four other incidents. Seven families were affected in these events. Two people have died and five have been injured in the landslide incident.
The disasters caused damage worth Rs 19 million, the NDRRMA stated.
There have been 2,361 disaster-related incidents across the country from April 14 till date. These incidents have resulted in 173 deaths, two missing people, and 1,208 injuries. During this period, 4,869 families have been affected, according to NDRRMA. #nepal #rss
