Kathmandu, May 2: UAE has been all out in the final match of ACC Men’s Premier Cup in Kathmandu. UAE could add only 11 more runs today at Tribhuvan University cricket ground in Kirtipur.

Nepali bowler Lalit Rajbanshi dismissed Junaid Siddiqui as the last wicket.  After the game was stopped yesterday due to rain, the same game was continued today.

The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has given free entry to the spectators in today’s match. UAE, who lost the toss and batted first, scored 106 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 27.3 overs yesterday before rain interrupted the game. The same game has been continued today.

While covering UAE cheaply, Lalit Rajbanshi took four wickets while Karan KC and Sandeep Lamichhane took two wickets each. Sompal Kami, Gulsan Jha also took one wicket each. Aasif Khan scored the most for UAE with 46 runs. Also Aryan Larka scored 13 runs, Muhammad Wasim scored 11 runs and Zahoor Khan and Wasil Hamid scored 10 runs each.

There is also a chance of rain today. If the match cannot be played today due to rain, then the result will be decided on the basis of Super Over. If the Super Over is not possible, Nepal will automatically qualify for the Asia Cup on the basis of ODI ranking. In ODI rankings, Nepal is 14th and UAE is in 19th.
