UML Chair Oli wants review in new budget

Kathmandu, June 15: The ruling party, CPN (UML), Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that a review was required in budget allocation made for the upcoming fiscal year 2024/025.

Addressing the CPN (UML) parliamentary party (PP) meeting in the Federal Parliament building  on Saturday, the UML Chairman also expressed his reservation to the budget allocation for the ministries headed by the UML leaders.

Arguing that the UML had joined the government to uplift the country from poverty, Oli said a review was needed about the budget.

He stated that the SDGs should be met within five years and productivity should be uplifted to expedite development and shake off poverty.

He added that the use of technology should be promoted for entrepreneurship development to translate the commitment of nation building into reality.

On the occasion, Oli claimed that reactionaries were attempting to weaken UML by spreading false rumours. “We need to move ahead by breaking this,” Oli added. #nepal
