KATHMANDU: Vice President of the Nepali Congress, Dhanraj Gurung, has said that local-level election would be held within coming mid-May.

Talking to media persons here today, he shared that the ruling coalition parties have already made agreement over the issue of local-level election.

Gurung added, “An agreement has already been reached among the ruling coalition parties in this regard. The decision in this regard will be made within a few days.”

He opined that there would be no alliance among the five parties in the local-level election to general election, saying political parties should go for election taking their own agenda, ideology, policy and programme.
