Unidentified group torches excavator



            Bhojpur, Aug 28 : An unidentified group has set an excavator on fire at a bridge construction site in Bhojpur municipality-12, the District Police Office said.

            Police said the unidentified group sprinkled petrol and torched the excavator brought by the Marseli Construction Services, the contractor company which is constructing the bridge.

            A suspicious device was also found at the site which is being guarded by the police and it would be disposed of by a Nepal Army bomb disposal squad which has been called for this purpose.

            The construction of the bridge over the Pikhuwa Khola river was started about a week back. The bridge is being constructed at a cost of Rs 65.3 million provided by the State1 government. Police are searching for the unidentified group.
