KATHMANDU: Visiting US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday.
During the meeting held at PM’s residence, Baluwatar, views on friendly and cooperative Nepal-USA relations were exchanged, said the Foreign Ministry, adding that PM Deuba thanked the US for its continued development cooperation and said he looked forward to a higher level of economic engagements.
Earlier, Assistant Secretary of State Lu met with Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka.
