
Kathmandu, May 27: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that Nepal is currently under the influence of western and local winds, along with partial impact from moisture-laden winds originating from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.
According to the department, weather conditions today will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the country, while other areas will experience mainly clear to partly cloudy skies. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places of the hilly regions and at a few locations in the rest of the country. Light rain and snowfall are also likely in a few areas of the high-hill and mountainous regions.
Tonight, partly to generally cloudy weather is expected in the hilly regions of Madhesh, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces, with mainly clear to partly cloudy conditions elsewhere. Some places in the hilly areas of Madhesh and other provinces may experience light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning. Light rain and snowfall are also possible at a few places in the high-hill and mountainous regions, the department added. #nepal #weather
