Kathmandu, March 15: There is now partial influence of westerly and local wind in the country.
The weather in hilly areas including of Sudurpaschim Province and Karnali Province is partly to generally cloudy while rest of the areas would remain partly to generally fair today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, rainfall is taking place at one or two places of Sudurpaschim Province.
There is possibility of light rainfall with thunder and lightning at one or two places in hilly areas of the country. According to the Division, light snowfall has been forecast at one or two places of high-hilly and mountainous region.
Today, partly to generally cloudy weather is likely at hilly areas of Sudurpaschim Province, Lumbini Province and Karnali Province while rest of the places of the country would witness mainly fair weather. Light rainfall with thunder and lightning has been predicted in few hilly areas of Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province.
Similarly, there is possibility of light rainfall along with thunder and lightning at one or two places of hilly areas of the remaining provinces.
Light snowfall would take place at few places of high hills and mountainous region of the Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province as well as one or two places of the mountainous region of the other provinces.
