KATHMANDU: CPN-UML’s disciplinary commission has recommended action against standing committee member Ghanshyam Bhusal.
Chairman of the commission Keshav Badal said that the commission has recommended to take action against Bhusal as per the party constitution as he had criticized Chairman KP Sharma Oli. “Our secretariat meeting has recommended to take action against a standing committee leader as it was against the party’s interest,” Badal said.
After the local elections, Bhusal criticized Oli in an interview. “If he stays in the party and goes against the party, against the Chairman, against the general convention and against the policy, the same action will be taken against Keshav Badal,” said Chairman Badal.
He said that the decision to take necessary action as per the party constitution.
Meanwhile, youth leader of CPN-UML Yogesh Bhattarai has posted a short status in which he has indicated dissatisfaction over the recommendation of action against Ghanashyam Bhusal. He has said that it will be a haste to draw a conclusion.
