World Cup League-2: Nepal bowling after losing the toss



Kathmandu, March 3: Nepal lost the toss against Papua New Guinea in the ICC World Cup League-2 triangular series. After winning the toss at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Papua New Guinea has decided to bat first.

Nepal has made one change in today’s match. Nepal has given a chance to Bhim Sarki in place of fast bowler Gulshan Jha.

Nepal is in sixth place with 28 points from 30 matches with 13 losses and 15 wins. Papua New Guinea is at the bottom with 7 points from 30 matches with 3 wins and 26 losses. In the first match against PNG in this series, Nepal defeated PNG by 10 wickets.

Nepal has to win all the remaining 6 matches to play the World Cup Qualifiers. For ODI recognition, Nepal needs four more wins.

On Thursday, Nepal was defeated by the home team UAE by 68 runs. While Nepal’s Kushal Malla scored 60 runs, none of the other batsmen could perform well. Nepal wants good batting in today’s match.
