Gulmi, Aug 2: A youth died after being stung by hornet in Gulmi today. He is 35-year-old Hari Kunwar of Yadung, Rurukshetra Rural Municipality-2 in the district.
According to Inspector Ram Kumar KC at the District Police Office, Kunwar was stung by hornets while setting fire to a hornet nest on a Sal tree in a field near his house on Thursday night.
Kunwar was immediately taken to the Mission Hospital in Palpa and he died today in course of treatment, Inspector KC said.
