Dhading, June 6: Minister for Information and Communications, Dr Bikram Timilsina, has said the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has no excuse to follow the political practices of the past that it has itself questioned.
“A new political culture has emerged in the nation,” he said. Inaugurating the first District Convention of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Dhading today, the Minister who is from the ruling RSP was of the view that the party has no justification for adopting the same political traditions that it had questioned.
He stressed that every RSP member should establish themselves as a messenger of this new political culture.
“The party is not expected to become a political entity that serves the interests of a particular group and individual, protect the middlemen system, works for the benefit of a limited section of society,” stressed the House of Representatives (HoR) member from Nuwakot-1.
On a different note, the Communications Minister acknowledged complaints regarding poor mobile and internet networks in rural areas. He said works are at progress to significantly improve mobile and internet network connectivity across the country within a year.
“Increased access to telecommunications services and their quality enhancement are among the government’s top priorities,” he added.#nepal #rss
