KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index lost 5.57 points today and closed at 2,326.90. Just yesterday, the index had created a new all-time high close at 2,332.31.
According to sharesansar.com, 16,305,141 shares traded hands via 57,980 transactions. The trading of 206 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 7.46 Arba. This is higher than yesterday’s turnover of Rs. 6.31 Arba. The index opened at 2,361.99 today.
Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 91.97 crores. The units of Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-2 (SIGS2) traded the most.
