Chitwan, Aug 12: On the occasion of the 14th International Elephant Day–2025, elephants were treated to their favorite delicacies on Tuesday in Sauraha, Chitwan. The event was organized by the United Elephant Operation Cooperative Society.
A total of 60 elephants, both government-owned and privately-owned, were served over 20 varieties of food items in a special banquet-style treat. The feast included rice, chickpeas, sugar, sugarcane, mangoes, apples, bananas, carrots, and more.
