KATHMANDU: Seventeen more COVID-19 cases have been added across the country in the past 24 hours. However, zero virus related death has been reported.
The caseloads were from the total 4,543 tests, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. The number of active infection cases stands at 3,592. So far, the total recovery number has hit 962,582 with 409 in the past 24 hours alone.
The recovery rate is 98.4 percent. Similarly, the death toll from the virus has reached 11,950. Lately, 8,729 people have been vaccinated against the deadly virus.
At present, 3,535 infected people are recovering health at home isolation and 60 in institutional isolation.
Twenty-seven persons have been admitted to intensive care units and six are on a ventilator support.
