KATHMANDU: The country has recorded 264 new cases and two infection-related deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The infection figures were from the total 13,709 tests conducted in various laboratories in the country during the same period. So far, the number of active infection cases is 5,689, informed the Ministry.
Until now, the number of recovery cases stands at 807,516 with 362 recoveries in the past 24 hours. The recovery rate is 97.9 per cent.
The death toll from the Coronavirus infection hit 11,559 with two deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry said.
On Tuesday, 236,482 people were vaccinated against the flu-like infection. So far, the total 20,995,536 doses of vaccines have been administered, shared the Ministry.
