KATHMANDU: A total of 2,676 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The new cases were detected from 8,256 RT-PCR tests and 4,512 antigen tests conducted during the same period.
In a press conference today, the Ministry said that 33 people succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 fatality caseload to 9,463 till date.
Similarly, altogether 1,757 COVID-19 patients got recovered from the infection in the past 24 hours which puts the total recovery cases to 626,468 as of July 15.
The recovery rate stands at 94.6 per cent, the Ministry said.
