5.3 magnitude tremor rocks Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: A tremor of 5.3 magnitude In Richter scale has rocked Kathmandu valley early in the morning today.

According to National Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was around Belkotgadi of Nuwakot District at 05:26.

The earthquake was felt by many residents of Kathmandu.

Last time, an earthquake of 6.0 magnitude In Richter scale occurred around Martim birta of Khotang District at 08:13 on July 31, 2022.

Nepal is prone to earthquake.
