TAPLEJUNG: An earthquake has hit Taplejung today morning at 7:35am. According to the National Seismological Center, the epicenter was reported at Olangchungola in Faktanglung Municipality-7.
The epicenter was reported below the Olangchungola border with China. The quake was felt at the district headquarter of Taplejung as well.
Although houses were shaken in the area around Taplejung, no details have been released about the extent of the damage.
