Kathmandu, April 7: In recent times, students’ interest in studying abroad has started to increase. According to the statistics of the Foreign Study Permit Section of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, 80,000 Nepalese students have obtained a permit (NOC) to study abroad in last 9 months.
The section has arranged online application for NOC. On the same day as the online application is received, the registration will be done and the NOC will be issued on the next day.
Foreign Study Permit Section Deputy Secretary Basudev Wosti informed that 529 applications were accepted out of 699 online applications received on Thursday alone. According to him, 500 applicants whose applications have been approved will receive NOC letters today (Friday).
