8,848 people have recovered, 129 died in 24-hours



KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours, 8,848 people have been infected with the coronavirus across Nepal.

According to a report released by the Ministry of Health and Population, this is the largest number of people recovered from the virus in a single day. Earlier, 7,890 people were recovered on Friday.

According to the ministry, 8,980 people have found infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. In 19,357 PCR test, 8591 people and 748 antigen tests confirmed the infection in 389 people.

Similarly, 129 people have died from coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 6,153 people lost their lives due to COVID-19.

In the last 24 hours, corona infection has been confirmed in 1,104 people in Province 1, 574 people in Province 2, 3,873 people in Bagmati Province, 369 people in Gandaki, 1,032 people in Lumbini, 616 people in Karnali and 1,023 people in Far Western Province.

According to the Ministry, 661 people have been infected in Kailali, 525 in Kavre, 353 in Surkhet, 344 in Jhapa, 325 in Morang, 255 in Rupandehi and 187 in Makwanpur in 24 hours.
