Kathmandu, July 24: Swiss Ambassador to Nepal, Dr Danielle Meuwly, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav today.
During the meeting held at the Office of the Vice President, Lainchour, they discussed the various dimensions of bilateral relations between Nepal and Switzerland, according to the Secretariat of the Vice-President.
Stating that Nepal and Switzerland are always enjoying cordial, friendly relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1956, Vice President Yadav underlined that high-level visits between the two countries have further strengthened the relations.
VP Yadav also extended gratitude towards constant support and harmony of Swiss government in Nepal’s peace process, expressing pleasure for keeping Nepal in the priority of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
Similarly, the Swiss Ambassador stressed the need of further strengthening diplomatic relations between Nepal and Switzerland, adding that the Swiss government is willing to invest in Nepal’s different sectors including industry. #nepal #rss
