KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is visiting the flood, landslide and inundation affected districts in the east today.
He will visit Sunsari, Morang, Ilam and Panchthar districts affected by floods, landslides and inundation, according to his secretariat. Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to visit the affected areas in all four districts, meet the survivors and acquire information about the situation in the affected districts.
He is scheduled to return to Kathmandu this evening, according to the secretariat.
Earlier, a team led by Prime Minister Deuba, including Finance Minister Janardan Sharma, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale, Nepali Congress central members and former ministers NP Saud, Ramesh Lekhak and Bir Bahadur Blair had visited flood-hit and landslide-affected districts in the far west on Thursday and Friday.
